Invite users to your organization
In Settings → User Management, click Invite User, enter their email, pick a role, and set how long the invite stays valid. New people get an email to sign up; people who already have a Flamingo account accept your invite in-app.
Bring teammates into your organization by inviting them. They’ll get access based on the role you assign.
Send an invite
- Go to Settings → User Management and click Invite User.
- Enter the person’s email.
- Choose a role (this sets their permissions — see Roles and permissions explained).
- Set the expiration (how many days the invite link stays valid).
- Click Send Invitation.
What happens next
How the person joins depends on whether they already use Flamingo:
- New to Flamingo — they get an email to sign up, set a password, and join your organization.
- Already have an account (e.g. they’re in another organization) — they don’t need a new login. They’ll get an in-app invitation to accept, and once accepted, your organization is added to their existing account.
Managing invitations
In the Invitations tab you can see pending invites and revoke one if needed. An invite that isn’t accepted before its expiration date stops working.
A person can belong to several organizations with one login. If their email already exists, inviting them simply adds your organization to their account once they accept — see Working with multiple organizations.
Note: Tip: set a shorter expiration for sensitive invites, and revoke any invite that’s no longer needed from the Invitations tab.
