How contractor subscriptions work

A contractor subscription is the monthly platform fee for managing a contractor on Flamingo — onboarding, compliance, contracts, invoicing, and payouts. You pick a plan when you add a contractor, and you’re billed per active contractor.

Choosing a plan

When you add a contractor, the first step is Choose a pricing plan. Each plan card shows what’s included, the price, and that it’s charged per active contractor. Contractor Management is the standard plan; higher tiers (such as Contractor Management Plus and Contractor of Record) may appear as Coming soon.

How billing works

• You’re billed monthly, per active contractor on each plan.
• Adding a contractor mid-cycle is prorated and invoiced right away for the rest of the period.
• When a contractor is offboarded, you’re charged through the end of the current period (no partial credit), and the fee stops after that.
• Only contractors with an active contract are billed — drafts and inactive contractors don’t accrue a fee.

See and manage your subscription

Go to Billing → Subscription to see:

• Your active contractor count
• The next billing date and estimated next invoice
• Your subscription invoices and their line items

From there you can Change plan, Pause, Resume, or Cancel — these need the Manage payments permission.
