Productivity Monitoring
The desktop agent — connecting it, what it tracks, and team insights.
- Classify apps and websites for productivityProductivity Insights scores time by classifying each app and website as Productive, Unproductive, or Neutral. Sensible defaults come built in, and the client can reclassify anything the team uses under Settings → Productivity & Screenshots → Apps & Websites.
- Download and connect the desktop agentInstall the Flamingo desktop agent, then pair it from the Link Device page: generate a single-use pairing code in the web app and enter it in the agent. Once connected, you start a tracking session in the agent by choosing your contract and project.
- Monitor team productivity with Productivity InsightsProductivity Insights shows tracked activity from the desktop agent: effective, idle, and away time, top productive and unproductive apps and sites, a daily timeline, blurred screenshot previews, and recent projects and timesheets — for the whole team or one person.
- What the desktop agent collects — and what it doesn’tThe agent tracks only while a session you started is running: periodic screenshots (shown to your client as blurred previews), the apps you use, the sites you visit, and an activity level based on whether you’re present — never your keystrokes or what you type. You can see your own summaries and delete your own screenshots.
