What do the payout statuses mean, and why is mine still processing?
1 min read · Updated Jun 2026
After your invoice is funded, the payout shows Processing while the transfer is in flight, then Paid once it clears. Local transfers usually arrive same day; international ones take 1–3 business days.
Once your client funds an approved invoice, your payout is sent to your bank account. Here’s what each status means and when to follow up.
Payout statuses
- Processing — the transfer to your bank has started. Local transfers usually arrive the same day; international transfers can take 1–3 business days.
- Paid — the transfer has cleared and the funds are on their way to (or already in) your account.
- Failed / Held — the bank rejected the transfer or it’s temporarily on hold. Flamingo retries automatically a few times.
If your payout is delayed
- Open Payment & Withdrawal and confirm your bank account shows a Verified status.
- Check that your account details (account number, routing or SWIFT) are correct.
- Allow up to 3 business days for international transfers before raising it.
Warning: If a payout has been Processing for more than 3 business days and your bank account is Verified, contact support with your invoice number.
