Three steps get you ready to pay: create your company account, verify your business, and add a payment method. Verification is what unlocks payments.
Welcome to Flamingo. Before you can pay contractors or run payroll, your company needs to be set up and verified. Here’s the path from a new account to your first payment.
Your setup checklist
- Create your company account and complete your business profile.
- Verify your business — a one-time check (KYB) that unlocks payments.
- Add a payment method — a card or bank account to pay from.
What unlocks what
- You can explore the platform and add contractors right away.
- Payments are blocked until your business is verified. Start verification early — review can take 24–48 hours.
Note: You’ll need the Company Settings permission to edit company details and verify your business, and Manage payments to add payment methods. An admin can grant these.
