Getting paid
Invoice statuses, your payout currency, and payout tracking.
- How invoicing works (statuses explained)After you submit, an invoice moves through Under Review → Approved → Payment Pending → Paid. Track every status in your Invoicing list.
- What currency will I be paid in, and how does the exchange rate work? You’re paid in the currency of your bank account. If your client bills in a different currency, Flamingo converts the amount and shows you the exact figure and exchange rate before you submit.
- What do the payout statuses mean, and why is mine still processing? After your invoice is funded, the payout shows Processing while the transfer is in flight, then Paid once it clears. Local transfers usually arrive same day; international ones take 1–3 business days.
- When will I get paid? How your payout date worksYour payout has a scheduled date based on your invoicing frequency (set by your client). After your invoice is funded, the payout is sent on that date — but the money doesn’t land instantly. The bank transfer adds a few business days, so plan for the payout date plus transfer time.
