Review and approve timesheets
Contractors log time against projects, and each timesheet comes to you as Pending. Review them, then Approve or Reject — individually or in bulk. Approved hours roll up to your projects and feed billing.
When a contractor logs time, each entry arrives for your review. You decide what’s approved before it counts toward project totals and billing.
Where to find timesheets
Go to Attendance → Timesheets. A banner shows how many timesheets are Pending your action. You can filter by Employee, Project, Status, Origin (Manual, Web Tracker, Work Status, Desktop), and a date range, plus quick chips for Today, This Week, This Month, and Last Month.
Timesheet statuses
- Pending — submitted by the contractor, waiting for your review.
- Approved — you’ve signed off; the hours count toward the project and can flow into billing.
- Rejected — sent back; the contractor can edit and resubmit.
Approve or reject
- Open a timesheet (or select several with the checkboxes).
- Click Approve or Reject.
- For multiple at once, use Approve All or Reject All in the bulk action bar.
Rejected timesheets go back to the contractor, who can fix and resubmit them — see Log and submit your timesheets for the contractor’s side.
How approved time is used
Approved hours roll up into each project’s Time Usage total (see Create and manage projects) and can feed into what gets billed. If you bill based on logged time, review timesheets promptly so billing stays accurate — see How do I review, approve, and pay contractor invoices?.
Note: Only approved timesheets count toward project totals and billing. Pending and rejected entries are excluded until approved.
