Getting started: your contractor onboarding

Five steps get you ready to be paid: accept your invitation, finish your profile, verify your identity, sign your contract, and add your bank account. Then you can submit your first invoice.
Welcome to Flamingo. Before you can start work and be paid, there are a few quick steps to set up your account. Here’s the whole path, in order.
Your onboarding steps
- Accept your invitation from your client and create your password — see Accept your invitation and finish your profile.
- Finish your profile — your personal information and contact details.
- Verify your identity — a quick document + selfie check. See Verify your identity.
- Sign your contract — e-sign your agreement, or accept an uploaded document. See Sign your contract.
- Add your bank account so you can receive payouts — see Add or update your bank account.
Once these are done, you can create and submit invoices.
Note: You can start your identity check now or come back to it shortly after, but you’ll need it (and a bank account on file) before you can be paid. Signing your contract is what officially starts your engagement.
