Verify your business (KYB)

Before you can pay contractors or run payroll, your company must pass a one-time business verification — also called KYB (Know Your Business). It’s handled securely through our verification partner, Persona (see Persona’s privacy policy).

What gets verified

Persona reviews your company’s identity and incorporation documents:

• Company details — your legal business information
• Business registration — your registration / tax ID number
• Website — your company’s online presence
• Articles of incorporation
• Board resolution or secretary certificate
• Corporate officer list

Before you start

• A valid, undamaged, unexpired identity document
• A smartphone to complete the document capture
• Your company’s tax ID / registration number and ownership details
• Your incorporation documents (articles of incorporation, board resolution or secretary certificate, corporate officer list)

Verify your business

1. Open Company → Verification, or reach the Business verification step in onboarding.
2. On "Let’s get you verified", scan the QR code with your smartphone — or choose Continue with your current device.
3. Follow the steps to capture your document and confirm your details.

What happens next

• Under review — "Your business is on its way for approval!" Review typically takes 24–48 hours.
• Approved — "Your business is approved!" You can now make payments.
• Rejected — "Verification was unsuccessful." Fix the flagged details and resubmit.

Status on your dashboard

Your Company overview shows a banner that reflects your current status:

• Not verified → "Verify your business account"
• Pending → "Finish your verification"
• Under review → "Verification under review" (24–48h)
• Rejected → "Verification was not approved" → "Update & resubmit"
