As a contractor you handle your own taxes — Flamingo doesn’t withhold tax or issue tax forms. You can download your signed contract and a PDF of each invoice as records for filing.

As a contractor you’re responsible for your own taxes — Flamingo doesn’t withhold tax or issue tax forms. What we do give you are clean records of your contract and earnings to use when you file.

What Flamingo does and doesn’t do

  • Does — record your gross earnings, currency, and payout history; provide downloadable contracts and invoices.
  • Doesn’t — withhold tax, calculate what you owe, or generate tax forms (such as a 1099 or local equivalents).

Documents you can download

  1. Your contract — open your profile, go to your contract, and use Preview or Download to save a PDF.
  2. Your invoices — open any invoice from the Invoicing list and click Download for a PDF with line items, expenses, and contract details.

Use these PDFs, plus your payout history, as the basis for your tax filing.

Warning: Flamingo can’t give tax advice, and no tax is withheld from your payouts. Budget for your own obligations and consult a local tax professional if you’re unsure.
